 Vistara announces bilateral interline partnership with Air India

Vistara, a top-notch full-service airline in India, has recently revealed a bilateral interline collaboration with Air India, another major player in the country's aviation industry. Starting from April 5, 2023, the partnership will allow passengers to enjoy a seamless travel experience across the entire network of both carriers. This means that customers can conveniently book mixed itineraries on a single ticket that covers both airlines, receive boarding passes for all the sectors on their itinerary at the beginning of their journey, and travel without any inconvenience as their luggage is checked in through to their final destination

Vistara has an existing interline partnership with Air India to address irregular operations (IROPs), where both airlines collaborate to offer alternate travel options to affected customers on each other's flights in order to reduce any inconvenience caused by operational disruptions. Moreover, Vistara has also established interline through check-in agreements with 43 other airlines, including top-notch carriers such as Air Canada, British Airways, Japan Airlines, Lufthansa, Singapore Airlines, Swiss, and United Airlines, among others. Vistara's partnership with these airlines enables passengers to have a seamless travel experience by allowing their luggage to be checked through to their final destination and obtaining boarding passes for connecting flights.
