Now we have to discuss the avionics tool box. Being an Aircraft engineer or technician the knowledge of the tools is the most important. Before going on aircraft for maintenance, it is the responsibility of the engineer/ technician to check the toolbox for tools as per checklist. Toolbox checklist is given by the operator. It is also necessary to check the tools after completion of maintenance to ensure tools are not left on aircraft, if tools left on aircraft it may become FOD ( Foreign Object Damage ).
